WPT Series
About WPT Series
The Burks WPT series is a close coupled, self-priming centrifugal pump for perchloroethylene and other 1.62 specific gravity fluids. It runs at 3500 RPM on 60 Hz power and re-primes on its own once the casing is filled.

Operating Conditions
The standard Buna-N seal is rated to 225 °F (107 °C). Inlet pressure is 100 PSI (689 kPa) on the WPT3 and WPT5, and casing working pressure is 165 PSI (1137 kPa).
Motor Information
WPT5 and WPT5X single phase motors are 1/2 HP to 2 HP at 115/230 V, and three phase motors are 1/2 HP to 3 HP at 230/460 V, 60 Hz, 3500 RPM, open drip proof. Single phase motors have built-in thermal overload protection. Three phase motors must be installed with a magnetic starter that provides full three-leg protection. Voltages may differ by supplier, so consult the factory.
