About WG6 Series
The Burks WG6-2 series is the high-capacity member of the self-priming line, with capacities to 280 GPM (17.7 LPS) and heads to 178 ft (54.3 m). It runs at 3500 RPM on 60 Hz power and uses a back pull-out design, so the casing stays in the line when the pump needs service.

Operating Conditions
The standard Buna-N seal is rated to 225 °F (107 °C) and pressures to 150 psi (1034 kPa). Inlet pressure is 100 PSI (689 kPa) and casing working pressure is 200 PSI (1379 kPa). Special seals are available for higher temperatures and fluids other than water.
Motor Information
Three phase motors are 5 HP, 7-1/2 HP, and 10 HP at 230/460 V, 60 Hz, 3500 RPM, open drip proof. JM type motors have a NEMA standard mounting flange, extended steel shaft, and dual bearings. All motors must be installed with a magnetic starter that provides full three-leg protection. Using the wrong starter or overloads will void the motor warranty. Voltages may differ by supplier, so consult the factory.
